Blue About Blue Cross-Blue Shield?

In October 2005 Teamsters were moved into a Teamcare PPO Blue Cross / Blue Shield Network and numerous complaints have been heard around the water cooler. Here at Road Drivers Weekly News, we want your problems made public for others to be aware of certain issues, so they might be prepared if the same situation occurs to them. Add your comments to this report by selecting the comment link below.

Also, if you have questions about the new Teamcare PPO, telephone 1-800-323-5000 Monday - Thursday 7:00am to 5:30pm CST Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm CST.

The only things that suck is they don't pay for shots for your babies and they don't pay for any type of weight loss surgery? They need to improve these two things.

I agree about the not covering shots for your children. You would think that they would prefer preventative care, rather than waiting until the child is sick! Also you can never talk to a human being on the phone when you have a question about coverage ,then when you go ahead with the visit or procedure a few weeks later you get a bill in the mail( go figure)thats not inusrance coverage.

I call over and over and the line is always busy--what kind of cusomter service is this?
I also have a problem with "preventative" not being covered-Why? A great example is the immunizations for infants.I am often amazed at the power insurance companies have. The lack of customer service, the wrong answers given by employees- sometimes more than one before you get correct info. The company is just way too big and impersonal and you do it because you can.
